From 22nd to 27th September, Waterfront Marina will host the 62nd edition of an unmissable event for lovers of the sea and anyone who is part of the international nautical market! In order to be “in the wake of the future”, as the 2022 slogan says, you cannot miss the Genoa Boat Show, which will transform the Waterfront into a huge marina for yachts, sailboats and dinghies, with over 1,000 boats and many important nautical brands spread over 200,000 square metres of exhibition area.
The Show is an important centre of gravity for the Ligurian economy: in 2021 the nautical turnover in Italy reached 3 billion euros, confirmed by Confindustria: our country is a leader in many areas of nautical manufacturing, from large yachts down to rubber dinghies and accessories.
The hotels will be full, restaurants and bars will be teeming with customers from all over the world and Liguria’s main city for five days will be at the centre of media attention from all around the world. During the show, the entire city is involved in a true sea experience: locals and visitors alike will find a rich program of events, spread out in the various areas of the city, including cultural events, exhibitions, concerts, guided tours and shows. A trail that will continue until 2023, when Genoa will be the venue for the Grand Finale of The Ocean Race, the global sailing competition.
