In Genoa there are medical practitioners licensed to issue the Norwegian, English language certificate – according to the MCA’s MSN 1815 (M) Amendment 6, for those working on United Kingdom vessels, in alternative to an ENG 1, issued by an MCA Approved Doctor, you can also present a valid national seafarer medical certificate issued in accordance with requirements of the Maritime Authority – including Italy, but Norway too!
